The following are King James Bible definitions of SINS, just believe what the verse SAYS!
1. All unrighteousness
1 John 5:17 All unrighteousness
is sin:
If you ever did anything that wasn't
right, you sinned right then!
2. ALL lawlessness
1 John 3:4 Whosoever
committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression
of the law.
If you ever did anything that was
contrary to the 10 commandments, you sinned right then!
3. Whatsoever is not of faith
Romans 14:23 And he
that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for
whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
If you ever did anything that wasn't
by faith, you sinned right then!
4. A thought of foolishness
Prov 24:9 The thought
of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.
If you have ever had a foolish
thought, you sinned right then!
5. A high look, a proud heart, and the plowing of the
wicked
Prov 21:4 An high
look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.
If you had a "high look" (This
is like raising your head and eyes up as though you were better than someone)
or ever thought you were proud of yourself, you sinned right then! The
regular work of a lost man plowing is sin.
6. Failing to do good
James 4:17 Therefore
to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
It is a sin for you to know you
should do something good for someone and don't do it!
7. Unbelief
John 16:9 Of sin,
because they believe not on me;
If you are not saved, you are already
a sinner!
8. Respect of persons
James 2:9 But if ye
have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as
transgressors.
If you respect someone better than
someone else, you sinned right then!
9. Hasteth with your feet
Prov 19:2 Also, that
the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with
his feet sinneth.
If you are always rushing to do
something, you sinned right then!
10. Despising your neighbor
Prov 14:21 He
that despiseth his neighbour sinneth:
If you despise your neighbor, you're
a sinner!
11. Talking too much
Prov 10:19 In
the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his
lips is wise.
The more you talk the more you
are prone to sin!
12. Heresy
Titus 3:10,11 A
man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; 11
Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned
of himself.
Anything you teach that is heresy
is SIN.
13. Provoking someone to anger
Prov 20:2 The
fear of a king is as the roaring of a lion: whoso provoketh him to anger
sinneth against his own soul.
The king here has to be Jesus Christ
and the way to provoke him to anger is to reject His atonement for your
soul!
14. Bad testimony
1 Cor 8:12 But
when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye
sin against Christ.
Anything you do that is a bad testimony
that could cause another Christian to stumble is a sin.
After reading all these bible definitions of sin, do you really think you can live above sin? You are a LIAR if you say yes! Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
One more thing, you can't live good
enough to go to heaven. You had better do like the bible says: 2 Cor 5:20b,21
... we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled
to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that
we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
